Journal Writing T3 W3 : Effects of Preventive Measures on Pupils

Dear Fine Trees,

Since we returned to school two weeks ago, we had to take our temperature twice a day. Some of the pupils could not return to school because they were on leave of absence. Our remedial, CCA and other activities have been cancelled or postponed. In this week's reflection, I would like you to discuss how all these have affected you. I have listed some questions below to help you with your reflection:
1. What do you think of the school's preventive measures for H1N1 such as temperature-taking, no assembly in the hall, cancellation of remedial lessons, CCA and other activities?
2. Which activities have affected you?
3. How has the cancellation of these activities affect you in your learning?
4. Do you think the school is less interesting now? Why?
5. Are your relationship with your friends and teachers affected? If 'yes', in what way/s?
6. What do you do with the extra time you have now?
7. Are your activities outside school affected?

I hope to read your reflection soon. Start writing immediately.

The other who have your blogs, please be active, especially after your class tests.

By the way, study hard and I hope that you will do well:)

Happy Chinese New Year

Hello fine trees!

How are your Chinese New Year holidays? Have the Chinese been visiting your relatives? I visited only some of my relatives. Today I realised that some of my relatives had aged a lot. One of them who is about 93 could hardly recognise me! My own father-in-law could not remember his own parents' names! He even got angry because he thought that we did not give him a red packet. By the way he is 89 this year.

How are the non-Chinese fine trees? Were you invited to Chinese homes? Anyway I hope that you also enjoy your holidays.

As for those who have received red packets, don't forget to share your blessings with me because I only received two red packets, one from my mother and the other from my elder son who is not married.

Don't forget to bring the reply slip for Parents' forum. See you on Wednesday.
